Hooray! Christmas!
We are celebrating the server already incredible 3. Christmas, and we have no choice but to wish you, our players, a rich Jesus, and if you have not yet invented gifts, do not despair. You can tell your loved ones about our server and start playing with us. However, Christmas Day is here and we also have to pay attention to the family, so do not expect any special gifts from us. Don't expect even thoughtful events, because before inventing your own events, we'd rather fix a few quests and help players with problems in the game, fix the spell, problem, etc., which I think we agree is the best gift. I also received a lot of requests for the ban to be lifted as a Christmas gift. If the ban is permanent, we DO NOT break it under any circumstances, whether it is Christmas, an attack on the Pentagon, Easter or anything else.
Some information and notifications
Quite often recently there are individuals who question our work on the server, that everything goes slowly, nothing happens and everyone is bored. In these cases, I would like to draw your attention to rule 9) and a few other things.
The server is a difficult thing and I have been running it for the fourth year. So I know what I’m doing and we started as one of the few servers from scratch. Nobody knew about us at the beginning, we didn’t take players from anyone, etc. The players came to our server gradually. We started with 5 people online for about half a year until today, where we have about 700 online at the top commonly. We do not advertise anywhere (it is against the terms of use of the kernel), we do not transfer characters from other servers (see additions to the rules) or other similar practices. We are just following each other and not following others. If someone does not like that we do not open "almost" functional instances or that we do not have everything immediately despite the loss to have all the values of blizzlike, then he has nothing to do with us and I recommend him to leave our ranks. I don't care if there's 700 people online or 200. My goal is to have a quality server with as many blizzlike values as possible. We also have a slightly different system for dealing with errors. If something doesn’t work for two players, for example, we won’t add the desired thing to them, we won’t fix it for them on the spot, but we will solve it through a forum for everyone. Some repairs take longer, and unless it is strictly necessary for running, we do not choose temporary solutions in the form of “bad” data and solutions “just to make it work”.
I have a lot of news for you. New version of Drahy program (I miss programming the function of opening links in Launcher in your "default" browsers), New forum, where every day we find the little things that I change, edit, make forum forum, new system of reporting bugs, a lot of fixes on the server, commissioning and optimizing the new server, new reworked Armory, move to 3.3.0 and more. However, we work on them despite our duties, university studies, examination period and other activities necessary for our own survival. If, despite this article, someone has not understood the essence of our server and its policy and will publicly defame our activities, he has nothing to do here and will be expelled. I'm not here to listen to ungrateful players who have no respect for our work and care for free.
Realize that we are human and that sometimes we are tired of something and we stop doing it for a while. Not the server, but its parts. When you deal with one boss in Naxxramas for several hours at a time, who kills everyone with one spell (which you have to go through) and despite that, you do not manage to “make it work” after attempts, it is logical that you let it rest, ask the neighborhood for advice, communities, look for other solutions, when you get tired of it for a while and solve other things. We can never solve all systems right away and have them all working right away. Until we fix all known bugs in given systems that we plan to release (Drahy program, forum, instances, other systems) not only things on the server, we will not deploy them. If you find more bugs later, there is from the bug reporting on the forum and we will deal with them further, but without the main ones we see, we simply will not run it. We are a free server and it must be taken into account that even GM does not like to solve the same mistakes forever and everything completely free, but we will try to solve them all in the end. Announcement of Arena Tournament results
After a successful event that ended the last arena of the season, here are the results of this event. Unfortunately, they are affected by the absence of two of the top ten teams last season.
