In the late hours of yesterday (2.7.2010 - 23:40) we were "hacked" TeamSpeak server. It was an error in the program and was released 14 days ago. repair ("fixed several vulnerabilities, this is a critical server update"). Our TS server ran on beta23 and all versions including this one were affected by a critical bug and vulnerability where the user (bot) could add admin rights, which happened to us and destroy the TS server. I learned about the vulnerability and the new version late and I was not able to update it. There was nothing wrong with our server and security, and the attacker had rights only to the TS server and work in it - we could avoid the attack as much as possible by updating it in time, which was not possible due to the recent days and situation. We have updated the TS server and gradually we need to restore/add all channels guild, so please write about setting up your channels if you meet rules of establishment The Best Managers GM Prisanee (Alliance) - Prisane (Horda) or Giant (Alliance) - Swift (Horda) Due to my difficulties and borrowing foreign laptops, I will not handle the requests myself. The situation should not be repeated - the appropriate critical vulnerabilities have been removed and I have also added an automatic backup of the TS server database and thus of the rooms and users. Collections
At the suggestion of several players on our server, we decided to collect for a new device, a laptop on which I will work, and on which I will manage the server and create repairs due to the malfunction of the old one. Although I was initially against this action, the arguments eventually exceeded my opposition to this collection. If I borrowed a new laptop and paid it off from the brigade, I will not be able to devote myself to repairs, but to the brigade. If I bought a laptop when I earned it, then there would be no new fixes and news on the server until then. In the end, we decided to collect. This is a purely voluntary act and a collection for a new notebook, which will serve both my personal purposes and mainly for the activity on the server, which I also worked on there all the time. We’ll see if the players see it that way. So how to proceed?
If you want to contribute to this collection, you can classically send any amount to an account published on the left menu as an account for contributions to the server, but I strongly ask everyone to include the word "Notebook postavycharacter name>“, otherwise I will posts taken as a contribution to the monthly server traffic. Thus, in addition to the standard name of the character you are writing to the message for the recipient, you will write one more word to distinguish the contributions to the server and to this collection. The notebook that could handle my daily load is approximately in the range of 20 – 25 000 Kč. Therefore, if we do not put together the amount in the shortest possible time, we will have to do without repairs before we can get the necessary amount. If a sufficient amount is not collected or we raise money in another way vy the collected amount will be used as always from this account exclusively for the operation of the server, which we have already observed when collecting for a new server and monthly fees for those years of operation of the server.

I apologize if the server will be in a similar situation as today (freeze) after a few days online and will not immediately online or restart. I have big problems getting to the server remotely from foreign laptops and without automatic tweaks from my old no longer working laptop.
