After the first step of the revolution in the form of chat, which now serves as the main base of information about server statuses, we bring all-wanted dense-cruel-strict web account management for Drahy server also known as Account Manager. It's happening! Today at 03:11 I managed to finish and fine-tune the last issues in a huge whole, serving purely and only the players of our server without waiting times for the Game Mastery. What is it then? Let's do this!
At the account management address I have now uploaded a completely new form of this web interface. Although it does not seem at first glance, it is a completely redesigned, very strongly secured account management system in several layers. Since account manipulation is a critical element in security, I left nothing to chance. We will go gradually.
A new and secure way to sign in při login to the system is now completely protected against external attacks, everything is solved through branched php script and functions, which very effectively solves code hiding and login methods. HTTPS effectively protects against eavesdropping.
New ways to hide email nahrazen since the email is the main component in the security of our players' accounts, it is replaced each time by a random number of stars, so the number of stars does not indicate the real number of hidden characters, never show more than 4 initial characters from the email, and mainly every time displays the address behind the curtain, for better clarity of real account owners.
Clear listings vý in the past, the last login, account creation and similar statistics were displayed in a cluttered way and according to American standards vý now the format is reworked according to our standards, i.e. day, month, year and time, which hopefully will make the orientation for the players clearer.
Account type zůstává it remains as the previous one, only better and more truthful for some players shows the real type of their account already in the overview, the change has also been improved.
Teleport and character recovery a this is a completely new service and will serve players who have a bad installation of the game, somewhere stuck or experiencing other similar problems. Within a few clicks, this service will fix the character with normal commands, remove all negative auras, move the character to the place of Hearthston and also revive it. This is a complete repair of the individual character. This activity can only be done once every 8 hours and the character must be offline. This service will greatly contribute to the independence of players without the need for GM assistance, who basically do the same thing as this service now.
Change your email and password – these services have undergone a complete restructuring. Every change is now strictly controlled and secured. Just to change an email, it is necessary to go through several dozen security functions such as checking the authenticity of the request, online status, correct access to the database, two-step verification, the correctness of entering a password or email, the correct format, protection against external manipulation, checks against repeated sending of requests (protection every 10 minutes) and more. However, despite all these checks, I managed to make the services for players as clear and simple as possible in a few clicks and filling out the request. I believe that all these security features not only for these services guarantee the maximum possible security for players and their accounts.
New services for gold – all the expected services for your characters. It is a renaming of a character, a change of race, a change of profession or perhaps a change of gender. All these services are available for game currency, i.e. golds. In order to satisfy all players who seem to be too high (they are so that not everyone uses them without thinking or influencing the number of one faction, etc.), I have prepared a paid service where you can reduce the price of gold for a few crowns for each service or even for all at once. It is not mandatory, it is just another way to satisfy the players and the server will have something for electricity. This discount is applied for single use only to prevent unintentional manipulation of these services. Therefore, everyone can adjust the price of the service separately on their account without limiting others and thus help the server in its development because the selected amount will go to the server operation as always.
Character Auctions unikátní Completely unique, transparent and completely free (goldy only) character auction přináší the new system brings virtual storage, where you can store the number of selected gold from any character or characters to manipulate the auction. From there, you can move freely in the auction and still play. It’s up to each person how much gold they sell their character for and it’s up to each person how much they buy their character for. Of course there is a list of offered characters, your characters that you have in the auction and easy bidding or, conversely, cancelling the auction. Everything is now fully functional in our new system and again completely free of charge.
Recovery of the deleted character vám Have you accidentally deleted your character in the game? If you realized this within 60 days, you no longer have to wait for the Game Mastery, but you can restore your character completely by yourself! This service offers a list of deleted characters and their easy recovery in a few clicks.
Transfer to another account vlastně In addition to the character auction, which actually offers characters directly for gold, there is a separate way of transferring characters, classically from account to account. This is a service that needs to be confirmed via e-mail to increase security again in case of account theft, which perhaps is not even if the player follows all the rules of the server. I do not plan a system for moving a character after a character for now because of the time and complexity of the system to be as secure as all other services. We will see how interested the new services will be, or whether the server will earn on itself.
Paid services nová a new item at the end of the list that indicates an offer to reduce individual prices in the new web administration. For example, there is an interesting option to buy out of the mine.
Statistics přidal I have added some basic statistics to the new system, which will show the richest players, for sure without names, the most loyal players or the players with the most kills. We can add statistics over time if you are interested.
List of bans nová a completely new service that will allow you to see current or old and no longer valid mines that have ever been made on the account or even on the characters. IP bans are no longer available as we no longer penalize players via IP addresses and thus the list would be empty.
Online players statistik online player statistics now contain each location and is better than at the head of the site and indicates, among other things, the latency of individual players, sorting, etc.
Reset password opět this service is again completely redesigned, secured and functional, the problems in the last days reported by the players have all been fixed in detail. The service is functional and safe.
It was a long struggle, 163 completely redesigned or newly added files, a test of each feature, thousands of lines of code and the study of all aspects of security finally came to an end and I can introduce you all to this beauty in the form of this new web interface, which will hopefully make the game a little bit more enjoyable for us and you. Thank you to everyone who has been involved in development, testing, graphics and more for months, especially Wulf or Martinuss. So sorry for the delay, this system was on the program a long time ago last month, but due to problems in real life, lack of time and work, it somehow stretched everything.
The third and last part of the revolution is in the new website, which we are working on and there is still a lot of work to be done, but I believe that everything will work out again, but only after some news and opening new things in the game :)
