Your first boss should not be called Client Setup. The Drahy’s Legacy program helps you prepare the game, check its files and set up the connection to our server. Everything is clearly laid out in one place.
Already have the game? Find it. Need a copy? Prepare one.
- Your own client: the program can find a compatible installation, or you can choose the game folder yourself.
- A fresh copy: it downloads original installation data and official patches preserved by Internet Archive, then builds World of Warcraft 3.3.5a, build 12340, directly on your computer.
- File checks: downloaded data is checked against checksums, and the completed game is compared with reference files.
- Ready to connect: it configures our server connection and lets you launch the game with Play.
We host the program itself, rather than a ready-made game client download. The game is assembled on your computer. Downloads can be paused and resumed later.
Useful beyond the first launch
The program offers optional addons, game verification and tools to repair files from another compatible copy. Replacing files requires confirmation, and the originals are retained. Updates to the program download in the background and are verified using signed release metadata.
You can optionally link your account through your browser. You never enter your account password into the program, and its local features work without linking an account.
