Clearer sign-in and the next step toward Restore

This update brings clearer guidance when account details do not fit the game client. Game names may contain up to 17 characters without spaces; game passwords may contain up to 16 characters. Accounts with an unsupported name can use the website to prove ownership with their existing password and enabled authenticator, then prepare a valid game login.

Drahy’s Legacy Program 0.8.3 explains the problem for a linked account and offers the matching website repair. Linking remains optional; normal game preparation and Play remain available.

AzerothCore improvements

The update improves weapon swing timing and combat calculations, Spellsteal and area-spell behavior, outstanding group loot rolls, missed instance resets, raid-browser information and several quests. Our custom world restrictions remain in place.

Preparing Restore

We continue preparing self-service recovery from historical data, with verified ownership and account preparation before character selection. Historical character recovery is not open yet; we will announce availability separately.
