Get started in three steps
First start
Save DrahysLegacy.exe in your own folder and run it. This portable program needs no installation. The EXE currently has no digital publisher signature. First check that you downloaded it from www.drahy.com.
Microsoft Defender SmartScreen: “Windows protected your PC”
If this ordinary SmartScreen warning offers the option, select More info, check the app name, then select Run anyway. This allows this launch without disabling system protection. Device policy may prevent continuation.
Smart App Control: a different block
Smart App Control has no per-app exception. “More info → Run anyway” does not bypass it. If its blocking message appears, this tutorial cannot enable the program while keeping Smart App Control enabled. Do not disable security for this guide. We are investigating trusted code signing; a signed release is not available yet.

Optional account link and community rewards
Use CONNECT ACCOUNT in the program, sign in on drahy.com and approve the matching confirmation code in your browser. The program never asks for your password. Downloads, PLAY, addons and tools also work without signing in.
Connected use earns 15 CP and 75 XP once, then 1 CP and up to 5 XP daily in addition to website rewards. Multiple PCs and restarts do not multiply rewards. The first 75 XP is outside the weekly limit. Daily XP shares the existing limit of 500 per week. Offline account information is last-known, and pending rewards wait for server verification. Disconnecting keeps your rewards and game data.
Requirements
Windows 10/11, 64-bit. One portable EXE; no separate .NET installation. You need a drahy.com account to sign in to the game.
We host the program, not the original game disc or patches. The program downloads Blizzard’s original Wrath of the Lich King 3.0.1 disc and 11 official enGB patches from the Internet Archive. Each download is checked against its SHA-256 checksum.
It extracts the game on your computer, applies the patches in order up to 3.3.5a (build 12340), checks all 169 reference files and configures the connection to Drahy’s Legacy Server. This is a local build from the original files, rather than a prebuilt client archive.
About 10.4 GB is downloaded; allow approximately 31 GB during preparation. The finished game uses about 16.6 GB. After full verification, temporary downloads are removed where possible; a cleanup warning does not block the ready game. Pause and resume are supported; another existing game copy stays unchanged.
If an installation source disappears before use, the program restores and verifies that source once while keeping the other downloads. If setup stops, include the local installation log shown in the error message: %LOCALAPPDATA%\DrahysLegacy-program\Logs\setup.log. Logs are not sent automatically.
Your addons
Addon installation shows the current package, phase and progress, with a remaining-time estimate after steady measurements. Clear review and result panels separate versions, file states and exact problems. The program window keeps its standard size, with minimize and close available.
One file with no installation or separate .NET download. Prepares the game for Drahy's Legacy Server and includes 16 optional addons. Finds compatible existing games automatically. DL means Drahy's Legacy: DL1, DL2… identify our addon package editions, separately from the author's version; managed addons can be uninstalled while keeping settings and restoring preserved originals.

Updates and verification
EXE download: 152.9 MB. The program is still in development; this page offers the latest published version.
New program versions download in the background and require Drahy's update-feed signature. From version 0.3.0, an already downloaded and verified update installs on the next ordinary launch, including offline. You can also install it immediately through Settings → Restart to update. Incomplete downloads wait; failed automatic attempts do not repeat on every launch. The previous version is backed up and restored if the new one fails to start. Replacing the EXE does not change the game or addons. Version 0.2.7 unifies program folder names and starts fresh settings and addon records; earlier development folders are neither imported nor deleted. Select your game folder again if needed. Click the version number at the upper left to check for updates without leaving your current screen. The separate new-version notice opens Settings.
