Update: The server is running, after a thorough analysis of the freezing logs, I tried a little bit to prevent them next time, so we will be surprised, after noon I will clean the server from inactive accounts. All those who have ignored the previous message and wrote again on ICQ have been moved to the ignore list (i.e. 23 players, the total status of my ignore list is 1946 people (the data is in almost 2 years of operation of the server)). Drahy
Unbearability
I really like doing this activity, I take care of the server, I solve problems, we discuss some difficult situations with GM and then we try to solve them and it works. Sometimes, however, there are moments when players so-called "angry" - that is, they write meaningless messages, base mistakes that are not even mistakes, etc. However, you saw it yourself on the ICQ messages I provided in the previous news. Then there are absolutely absurd situations, such as today’s, when I want to rat out everything and let it go. The server didn't go well, I understand, the players were angry. I even understand that he will also post a topic on the forum, why the server does not go, etc.
What I do not understand is the fact that every player who finds out that the server is offline has to create another topic about this problem (I deleted 6 of them) and still every single player has to let me know about it on ICQ and ask why it does not work, when it will work or that it is useless here, when it still does not work, in these situations it awakens deep-seated murderous tendencies in me and I feel like cracking up. The arrogance and impudence of some players is sometimes admirable, but to cry rather than to rage or laughter. Fortunately, I have individuals who keep me afloat, but it won't be forever.
I don’t have a 30-member team and I don’t receive any monthly salary, I go to school every day and I have other duties, so if the server crashes at a time when I’m not spamming the forum or ICQ, you just make it worse. So if I come home and I turn on the ICQ and it looks like this Picture. And when all the windows were opened, it looked like this Picture. I don't need that. I'm sorry. So I am forced to tighten the rules. I will later ban anonymous users (only registered users will be able to write), the ICQ clearly says here that you can write only in acute cases, which maybe it was, but we know this for sure when the server does not go.
Each GM therefore reserves the right to give any user who writes a similar message to him immediately throw into the ignore list without giving any reason, we protect ourselves and especially all information (errors and problems) can be solved on the forum or on their own initiative. That is all for my statement.
