From the life of administrators
Greetings to all players, non-players, friends and you all,
Today's news I decided to take from the region a little humorously, because I was told that the news is dry and that the players want the same as I wrote on "hell" vacation. Since I do not have such experiences, I decided to take it a little differently. To explain to some players how repairs are actually made and why we get out of repairing one spell except that we end up going to sleep instead. Some call it a disease. VPDSP (Age-Deficit Attention Deficit) and it manifests itself in me, for example, as follows:

I decide to fix the spell based on the player's recommendation that it is appropriate to fix it. I open my laptop and see how dusty it is from dirt, which I do not know how it got there, because I just work at the computer, eat, drink and hit it when something goes wrong. It can't be my fault. I have to clean the notebook from food debris and dirt. I'm going for a rag specifically for screen and keyboard cleaning. On the way back, however, I see unopened mail on the table. It might be wise to see if there are any bills to pay. I put the rag on the table and start to discuss the mail. I see a lot of advertisements and throw them in the trash. As a true champion of the planet, I sort out the trash and put it on a pile of used paper and old newspapers. The pile is already at the overflowing level, so I put down the mail and go to take out the pile in the paper basket. Next to the paper container, I notice the letter box and realize that I should send that important email I wrote yesterday. I go back to my laptop room and see next to it an almost empty glass of cola that I was drinking a moment ago. I realize I need more sugar, so I'm going to get some more. On the way, I see in the hallway the glasses I was looking for this morning. I have to put them on my desk so I don’t look for them. But first, I'm going to finish my Coke. I put my glasses on the table and see unwashed dishes that accidentally got dirty in the making of food so I wouldn’t starve. So I'm going to go wash it so it doesn't stink and I have a place to work. But it can wait, I have to finish my Coke first. I'm going to get a Coke and refill it, and of course I'm going to pour it next to it and on the ground. So I'm going to the next room to get a rag to wipe it off. I go back and wonder what I did that day. The laptop is still dirty, the mail unsent, the wheels unloaded, everywhere on the ground bikes, nothing is repaired, glasses do not know where I have. I am surprised that nothing is done and yet I did not stop and I am quite exhausted. Well, I'm going to bed.

Contributions
I would like to thank everyone who has decided to contribute so far and keep the server up to date as before. However, we have a few individuals who contribute regularly or once in a while, so I decided to replace the existing contributions rewards. We run the server for everyone free of charge, without the right to salary and VIP accounts or the advantage of those who have the opportunity to contribute to the server. For certain amounts, we give away mini-pets and now mounts that are normally available on official servers in various situations that cannot occur with us (buying playing cards, etc.). Others that are neither here nor available in the game we will try to give as rewards for events, so that everyone has the opportunity to get something extra and yet we somehow divided those who voluntarily contributed to the server. The list of donors is updated to date and I would like to thank everyone for their support. You can contribute classically at this address after login to the site.

Event & Tests
With GM, we decided to organize an event to test new things. This is not the case, we do not want to open them :-). This is a test of the new arena in Dalaran and the battleground Isle of Conquest. So how will this work?

Saturday 22.1.2011 We will open this battleground and arena sometime during the day (we do not specify when, because we would not comply with the term due to the laws of intent). It will take place live and with your knowledge. In short, we announce that only this arena and this battleground are available now. We will disable the others and it will be possible to log in for an hour or two only to this arena and this battleground without having to restart the server. Your task is to pay attention to mistakes as much as possible, especially in a given battleground, to create quality reports and to say what is wrong and what does not seem to you, or needs to be corrected and fine-tuned. Since there is a battleground for 40 people, it is not in our power to test this battleground outside, so we are organizing this event to discourage any players who do not want to lose their rating in the arena due to a mistake in the new arena. Don’t expect prices at this event. The sooner we solve these problems, the sooner we will open new things permanently and the sooner we will deal with instances not only us, but also the whole team of developers. That you don't know what to do there? Never mind. I will provide instructions and description.

Isle of Conquest

isle.jpg

Isle of Conquest, an island off the mainland of Northrend, a cliff hard to see at first sight. As insignificant as it may seem, this place is not. The coast is stained with blood, and there seems to be a sound of roaring waves crashing on rocky cliffs, mingled with the sound of sparkling swords.

The generals of the Alliance and the Horde fight for supremacy, overseeing the course of the battle from the safe place of their fortress. The party that is the first to eliminate the opponent's general will take glory from the island. But failure to protect your general means shame, dishonor and defeat. There is no peace on the Isle of Conquest, only total war.

Basic information:
- Level range: 71-79, 80
- Maximum number of players: 40 Alliance players / 40 Horde players
- Goal: Kill your opponent's general, or kill your opponents until their reinforcements are exhausted.

Game:
The Isle of Conquest can accommodate up to 40 players from each team fighting on a small island northwest of the Northrend coast. Teams can use strategic positions such as the Drilling Tower, Machine Workshop and a fully equipped hangar with an airship to win. On the battlefield, you can use destructive weapons. There are five strategic points on the island for which you will fight your opponent. It depends only on you, which you get for your team, and which will help you to win.

The Oil Derrick: Located at the northwest end of the island, it produces oil capable of fueling thousands of devastating war machines. With this resource, players receive valuable reinforcements and honors.

The Cobalt Mine: Cobalt mines are located at the southeast end of the island and hide untapped wealth. Obtaining this resource guarantees reinforcements and a continuous supply of honors.

The Docks: The harbor on the west coast will expand your choice of weapons of war, including the catapult.

The Airship Hangar: This sturdy steel structure towers on top of Mt. Conquest overlooks the east side of the island, allowing players to board an anchored airship. This devastating weapon is capable of killing enemies from above and destroying their defenses. As soon as players board, a parachute will also become part of their equipment to attack the enemy fortress from the air.

The Siege Workshop: Located right between the base of the Horde and the Alliance, it allows players to use war machines with the power to destroy the walls of an enemy fortress.

Graveyards: There are a total of five cemeteries on the Isle of Conquest, which are connected to different points; the Alliance base, the Horde base, the oil spill, the center of the map connected to the Machine Workshop, the northeast corner connected to the hangar, and the southwest corner connected to the harbour.

Victory:
General: Hidden in his fortress behind strong walls, the general gives orders to his troops from a relatively safe place. Therefore, players must break through these walls and kill the general, the Isle of Conquest then falls into the hands of the winner.

Reinforcements: The Isle of Conquest uses a reinforcement system similar to Alterac Valley. Time goes on and every single person counts. If your teammates are killed too much, the fight for you ends in defeat. Killing enemies also reduces the number of their reinforcements in the ratio of one killing to one reinforcement. Once one of the factions has exhausted its limit, the winning team takes control of the island.

Repairs
20.1.2011 - 21:00

2) Fixed loading of boss/miniboss scripts in Battleground Alterac Valley
3) Added more immunities to bosses into heroic instances and raids
4) Perhaps the freezing of clients around the vehicles has been corrected, especially in the Wintergrasp area during the vehicle boarding function chce it requires tests, whether it is really this, to delete temporary components, etc.
5) Fixed rather temporary ways (due to lack of data supply) series of quests for Sons Of Hodir, otherwise also obtainable by transforming emblems
6) Welded frogs Lake Frog for AT quest
7) Added security and GM alerted In the GM section to emails sent from fake email addresses (acting as an original email from a given account), requesting exchanges or transfers - such individuals will be immediately permanently expelled from the server and forum without the possibility of appeal

21.1.2011 - 03:00
8) Cancelled combat at the end of Wintergrasp Battle
9) Cancelled combat after killing the final boss in the FOS instance
10) Fixed recovery quests for paladins
11) Added target-limiting system for spells and applied to spells for Campaign Warhorse in Icecrown, whose spells can now only hit mobs in the quest and no other (nor players) - end reports of killing AT mount and ban - for GM added instructions in GM section, how to do it, for any other similar spells
12) Added last fixes to Dalaran Sewers arena

21.1.2011 - 13:30
13) Reworked combat system to a similar stage as previous changes in certain areas - should significantly help to annoyingly jam combat in certain areas - as always report any strange changes on the forum, if there will be or knowledge, whether it is better
14) Reworked some trigers - visibility for players (Nexus - boss Anomalus) and others such as trigers in Naxxramas or Onyxia - should correct minor dmg or other behavior in other instances
15) Added immunity to some spells for Onyxia in the second stage

23.1.2011 - 03:00
16) Fixed some things to IoC
17) Reworked the system of storing items in players' backpacks - some players had 6 items in one slot, while the last one was active - this should never happen and yet about 50 players did - deleted the oldest items from these slots and left the latest, which means perhaps no losses for these individuals on the items - the record holder, who had just an incredible 6 items in one
18) Even more improved combat work in the world
19) Deleted data from the database for accounts of players who often have errors or freezes should also help to freeze vehicles - I strongly recommend deleting temporary files before starting the game after these updates (using Drahy Launcher in the program Drahyho Program)
20) Fixed payments via PayPal - now they should indeed automatically deliver rewards to these individuals after payment
21) Fixed talent Ignite
22) Updated time to start Wintergrasp battle for all players immediately after login (available via "H => Battlegrounds" - top right) - end of questions when the battle will start

23.1.2011 - 15:00
23) An attempt to fix the action bar, items, player positions and more - has nothing to do with previous fixes - these fixes that caused the problem I did not list, because they were related to the structure of the database (for players irrelevant) and I was assured that the changes were tested, so I even deployed them
24) Fixed time display during WG battle - damn it deleted by mistake during this change - my excuse - will be in other fixes :-)

23.1.2011 - 16:30
25) Better fix saving players from previous fixes
26) Really Added Fix 24)
