Edit: Fixed 2 more server crashes. The server should be stable. I want to play without falling.

Will the server crash?
Yes, but at much smaller intervals than before (hours, half days and later days and maybe sometimes weeksli if Blizzard slows down a little with the release of new patches). Believe me, we got to the heart of the problem of most falls, and we solved them all. Now the falls that will occur will be new and will no longer be so hectic and frequent. I'm glad we've sorted it out and I can go rest for a while. If the server appears to have crashed during an action, report it to the forum immediately. So now we care about stability rather than the functionality of most things. So we have combined variant 1 and 2 and now we will normally proceed further in fixes and updates. In the future, we need to switch to patches 2.3.0, 2.3.2 and finally 2.4.0. Their future on our server is certain, but the date of their deployment is not certain. There are still a lot of flaws in our test realm and the test server is falling. We will deploy the patches when we are 100% sure that the server will not mind and all or most of the news from the patch already works.

Freedom of communication?
On ICQ? Hardly any. On Jabber? Absolute. Openness of ICQ protocol? Nope. Jabber? Of course. In this way, the characteristics of these two Internet communication protocols could easily be summarized. Why am I even mentioning this? The answer is simple.

ICQ the National Museum closed protocol with strict conditions of use. What are they if they are so terrible? You can use ICQ. only through Official Client (ICQ 5, 6, lite, etc.), so there is no way that you would use alternative clients using ICQ network! You can communicate via ICQ only in 13 years old and higher, communication can only take place with personal reasons or that this ICQ License Agreement may change at any time and you must comply with it otherwise you are engaging in illegal activity. Official ICQ clients are just overwhelmed by ads and other vermin, which only distracts users. It is not possible to install the official ICQ client on other operating systems, because it is not possible to install it on Windows. has no support. ICQ is centralized, i.e. if their server crashes (a fairly frequent phenomenon mainly at the end of each month), the entire service falls and is therefore unavailable.

Jabber protocol (see client here and info here) is a new and easy communication protocol. Jabber allowed ICQ transports from ICQ to jabber until now. However, AOL, which owns the ICQ network, decided to intervene and prevent illegal activities with their protocol and discontinued this service, I would not be surprised if it somehow prevented communication through alternative programs. Jabber does not have any of these restrictive conditions and it is Decentralized Protocolwhich in a way will never fallBecause it is in the world thousands of servers.which are connected to each other, and if one falls out, you switch to another. It is still being developed by a large community around the world and is getting faster and better. It ensures that the services that They will continue to run in the future. And especially all the time. It also allows you to use many of the surrounding services. For example, you can add the person "prague@weather.jabber.cz" to your contact list and by sending a "3" message you will get a weather forecast for the next 3 days or by adding the contact +420*********@sms.netlab.cz you can send SMS messages to the given phone number! (If it is Vodafone or Eurotel.)

With the current measures taken by AOL (restrictions according to their conditions) and due to not conducting illegal activities, I have decided that: I’m leaving the ICQ network and I’m telling you the same thing.. So I turn off the ICQ and end it definitively and delete it from the contacts of the administrator on our site. I'm shutting it down and I won't respond to it.. The only way to connect with me is the above-mentioned jabber and MSN (Addresses again here on the site). Thank you for your attention and bye-bye ICQ!

Communication between ICQ and Jabber contacts is therefore unacceptable and perhaps impossible even at the moment. So ICQ and Jabber networks are two different things where you can’t have contacts from ICQ on Jabber and vice versa. It is the same as if you were mixing MSN and ICQ networks, each network has its own contacts and can not be mixed, but in multiclients (Miranda, Trillian, etc.) you can have all contacts from all networks displayed at once or have the ICQ client and Jabber client running at the same time on one PC. I wish you good luck in the transition, in which you will certainly not go wrong.
