Some stories deserve another chapter. Ours was interrupted by a hardware failure and the irreversible loss of the original disks. We are now preparing the return of Drahy’s Legacy, with renewed foundations and the same excitement about meeting again in Azeroth.
Where we left off
The latest posts in our archive discussed a new website, better support, account recovery and further fixes across the game world. Even then, the aim was to give the server a more stable future. And to find enough hours in a day. That particular boss remains surprisingly tough.
A hardware failure followed. The original disks were irretrievably lost, and their contents could not be recovered. More than a game went quiet: it was a meeting place for friends, guilds and familiar names.
A new era, built with care
We are now working from the historical data and older backups that remain available. Each source needs checking and preparation for the current systems. Recovery will depend on what we can actually verify; promising that absolutely everything will return would not be fair.
This new chapter includes a clearer website in English and Czech, a shared tracker for bugs and player help, and the Drahy’s Legacy program to make game setup easier. I am continuing the fixes and finishing touches step by step, with lasting results in mind.
The best part never lived on a disk
Your first raid, a memorable duel, or an evening spent talking more than playing. Those memories are why this story is worth continuing. Thank you to everyone who remembered the server — and welcome to those about to become part of its history.
